Tattoo art goes beyond its primary aim of displaying celebrity worship, memories etc and joins the noble league. Ami James apart from being the star of the hit reality series âMiami Inkâ and owner the hottest bars in Miami âLove/Hateâ is now PETAâs new model for its anti-fur campaign. James revealed his famous tattoo that reads âInk, Not Minkâ showing his concern about the plight of animals who are killed in the name of fashion. In an interview with PETA, Ami says:
I was watching TV and then all of a sudden there was something about Roberto Cavalli’s fashion and I saw people wearing cheetah furs and all sorts of crazy things like that ⦠to the point where I got asked to do a Cavalli vodka design and I said, ‘F*** no, I’m not doing it. I’ll never do it.
Going ahead with his idea Ami has designed a tattoo for PETA, which has been created into a temporary tattoo for animal lovers and supporters. PETA is holding a contest to give away Amiâs original artwork to one lucky winner and temporary tattoos of the artwork to 100 runners-up. The last date to fill the forms to win the original artwork is February 25. Winners will be notified by February 27. Hurry and be a part of this noble cause!
