Tattoo artist, should be well versed with their spellings before they are behind the bars.
After an incidence in Chicago where a tattoo artist, Sam Hacker, was sued for inking wrong spelling on Michael Duplessis’ chest. He wanted to tattoo “Chi-Town” on his chest and unfortunately, the tattoo artist at Jade Dragon Tattoo Inc. inked “Chi-Tonw.” This spelling mistake lead Duplessis to file suit in Cook County Circuit Court against Jade Dragon Tattoo Inc. and the tattoo artist, alleging the mistake has caused him “emotional distress from public ridicule” and “loss of self-esteem and psychological pain and suffering.”
I would like to request all tattoo artists to brush up their spellings so that even they do not face such problem.
