Sometimes tattoo is an art and sometimes a scribble. Matt Crookshank whose body wears ‘scribble tattoos’ on chest, banner, red lightening with black moon and another is the one running down to his ankle from the side of his chest this is not the end of the list of tattoos which he wears there are many other similar tattoos worn by him.
Five years ago, Crookshank started his journey as a painter and he is represented by Le. in Toronto, and SKEW, in Calgary. His work has been written about in The Globe and Mail, The National Post, The Toronto Star, Now Magazine, Xtra, Eye Weekly, and Hive Magazine, among others.
An artist can only know the depth of an art. May be his ‘scribble tattoos’ have lot to say, but my eyes unable see that clearly… What is your perception about these tattoos?
