It is a general belief that post 60 one should retire and lead a peaceful life which converts into saying that one should give up all the good and luxurious things in life and live a dull and boring life. However, defying all the conventions, a 60 year old lady Margaret Mills from Timaru, New Zealand is all set to enjoy her life to the fullest. With this new found enthusiasm about life, just days after her 60th birthday she reserved an appointment with 4Skin Tattoo and Piercing Parlor to get herself a tattoo.

The thorough patriotic and mother of two had no second thoughts over choosing her tattoo which was a Kiwi- representative of New Zealand to be inscribed on her ankle. Throughout the whole process, Margaret Mills was very calm and co-operative said a very pleased Karl Lefeber, the tattoo artist who gave Margaret the tattoo.

Margaret too was very surprised at how little pain the tattooing caused. According to Margaret Mills,

I don’t know why I was so worked up; I thought I was going to be lame for days. It really doesn’t hurt that much, it’s more of an annoying burning sensation.

However, she is also quick to confirm to the fact that she won’t be going in for another tattoo but she will continue with her enthusiastic and exuberant life nevertheless.
