Expressing oneself and conveying messages through tattoo is nothing new. 79-year-old Paula Westoby has also chosen tattoo to convey her message to her doctors. She has got a “do not resuscitate” tattoo on her chest to make sure medical staff get the message that she doesnât want to be resuscitated if she has a heart attack or stroke.
She has got inked for the very genuine reason which many people across the world go through. Everyone has the right to refuse medical treatment but their wishes are often ignored because of the seriousness and sometimes the urgency of the medical situation. Paula doesnât want to be one of them and she has got her desire of not being resuscitated inked thereby conveying the message to her doctors. Hope she doesnât come to face such a critical situation!
