One just can’t stop meeting the Joker these days. After film posters, news magazines and printed t-shirts, this unforgettable character has now infiltrated tattoo studios as well. This particular one, done on arm, is quite a vivid portrayal of the original. Inked in shades of green, black and red, the artist has managed to capture the much-hyped sinister expression for which the late actor Heath Ledger turned famous overnight. One wonders, however, whether it would have a greater effect when inked on some other part of the body – the back or chest for example, where it would have somehow got a wider and better exposure. But nevertheless, kudos to the tattoo artist for producing something as poignant as this. Besides being a cool work of art, it also serves to be a great tribute to a transcendant performance by a legendary actor.
