The Five Kingdom tattoo unleashes a passionate scientist

You thought scientists are boring people who hide themselves behind their coat labs and thick glasses? Scientists probably live, eat and breathe their passionate subject and obviously you would expect a scientist to go in for a ‘science tattoo’ that reveals his passion. Check out Clare D’Alberto’s tattoo that reveals her fascination for the biological world. The tattoo evolves around a tree to represent the five kingdoms–Monera (bacteria), Protista (amoebae and other single-celled organisms), Plantae (plants), Fungi (illustrated here by yeast and the penicillin mold), and animals (a comb jelly, a mollusc, a starfish, and a seadragon fish). Hmm, now who says scientists are boring?
