The very sight of this tattoo takes me far away from this world- I feel like Alice in The Wonderland. Illustration tattoos are not new, but this tattoo is something very close to my heart. I know this girl is also fascinated by the highly imaginative story of Lewis Carroll. This tattoo creates thousands of questions in a curious mind- are there horses with wings? What is a rocking-horse-fly? Does it rock or fly?
But yes, we canât ignore the imagination of this tattoo artist as well. Whereas the original illustration by John Tenniel was made in black sketch (featured below), these brilliant colors make it more lively and appealing. Good interpretation!
