I hope CHI-TONW would not turn like MS-13 (Mara Salvatrucha 13) gang.
Few weeks ago, you read about Michael Duplessis who sued a tattoo artist, Sam Hacker, for inking misspelled ‘Chi-Town’ on his chest.
This is what tattoo artist, Kyle Ward, say about his mistake:
We’re not a bunch of idiots that can’t spell. Each letter is an individual piece of art.”
Kyle supported Hacker by getting one CH-TONW tattoo on his ankle (shown).
Hacker said that he had shown the final imprint and even Duplessis did not notice the typo, either. Hacker said, “We don’t have erasers,” and gave many other options to camouflage the mistake. However, Duplessis did not return back to him.
Anyhow, it was not the end. On Monday, Hacker organized a free tattoo session where he inked ‘CH-TONW’ on his customers. Jack Siemers offered his Bridgeport shop Sunday as a spot for customers to get free CHI-TONW tattoos from Hacker. Approximately twenty people got this tattoo. Most of them were his friends who stood up to support him.
